Connecting your X / Twitter account
To connect your X / Twitter account to dlvr.it, make sure you’re logged into the correct account in your browser before starting — dlvr.it connects to whichever account is currently active.
Connecting multiple accounts. If you manage more than one X / Twitter account, log into each one separately in your browser and connect them to dlvr.it one at a time.
Delegate accounts. X / Twitter’s Delegate feature isn’t supported — you’ll need to be logged in directly as the owner of the account you want to connect.

Publishing to X / Twitter
dlvr.it automatically publishes new content to your X / Twitter profile when items appear in your connected source. A few things worth knowing:
Character limits. Only the first 280 characters of a post are visible in the timeline. If your post includes a link and you want the preview to appear, keep the URL within the first 280 characters.
Mentions. To mention another account, include the exact handle in your content — it becomes a link once published. (X / Twitter’s API no longer supports handle autocomplete in third-party tools.)
Duplicate posts. X / Twitter rejects duplicate posts — publishing the same content more than once to the same account will fail, so keep your feed content varied. You can also post to a main profile and retweet it to your other profiles.
Links, link page, and QR codes
X now charges for posts with tappable links, so dlvr.it includes your link URL as text followers can copy. See Links are changing on X (formerly Twitter) for what changed and why.
Two options help followers reach your content:
Link page. A public "link in bio" page dlvr.it hosts for each X profile, listing everything you share through dlvr.it. Turn it on from your X output's Link Page action and paste the link into your X profile's Website field. See Your link page (link in bio) in dlvr.it.
QR codes. Add a scannable QR code to your post images so followers can open the link with their phone camera. If a link has no image, dlvr.it generates a QR Card for you. See Add QR codes to your X posts.

Media notes
Audio-only MP4 files aren’t supported — the file must contain video.
If you see quality loss or errors with animated GIFs, check that the file doesn’t exceed the maximum resolution (1280 × 1080), frame count (350), or total pixels (300 million).

FAQ
Can dlvr.it post to multiple X / Twitter accounts at the same time? Yes — you can connect and publish to multiple X / Twitter accounts. Because X / Twitter rejects duplicate posts, if you’re sending the same content to several accounts, vary it slightly — or post to one profile and retweet that post to your others.
Can I use X / Twitter as a content source in dlvr.it? No — X / Twitter is supported as a publishing destination only. See Supported channels in dlvr.it for the full list of supported sources.
What if my X / Twitter connection stops working? Access tokens can expire after a password change or security update. See Reconnecting a social channel in dlvr.it for steps to restore the connection.
Are X / Twitter polls supported? Not at this time — polls need to be created directly in X / Twitter.
