Using Pinterest with dlvr.it

Pinterest is a powerful platform for driving referral traffic to your site, with nearly 500 million monthly active users actively looking to discover new brands and content. dlvr.it lets you automatically share content from your RSS feeds and other sources directly to your Pinterest boards — keeping your presence active without the manual effort.

To connect your Pinterest account to dlvr.it, log into the Pinterest account you want to connect before starting the connection process — dlvr.it will connect to whichever account is currently active in your browser.

If you have a Pinterest Business account linked to your personal account: Make sure you've switched to the correct account in Pinterest before connecting. In Pinterest, click your profile icon in the upper right corner and select the account you want to use from the dropdown. Once the correct account is active, head back to dlvr.it to complete the connection.

You can connect multiple Pinterest accounts to dlvr.it. To avoid connecting the wrong account, log into the correct Pinterest account in another browser tab before connecting each one.

dlvr.it automatically publishes new content to your Pinterest boards when items appear in your connected source. Here are a few things worth knowing.

dlvr.it can publish up to 25 posts per 24 hours to a single Pinterest account.

When setting up your route in dlvr.it, you can choose which Pinterest board your content publishes to. You can select a different board for each route, including secret boards — see the FAQ below for details.

Pinterest does not hyperlink hashtags, so any hashtags included in your post content will appear as plain text and won't be clickable.

Can dlvr.it post to secret boards? Yes — you can publish to boards that are marked as secret in Pinterest. Select the secret board when configuring your route in dlvr.it.

What if my Pinterest account isn't showing up when I try to connect? Make sure you're logged into the correct Pinterest account in your browser before connecting. If you have a Business account, confirm you've selected it from the Pinterest account switcher before heading back to dlvr.it.

Can I tag or mention other Pinterest profiles in my posts? No — tagging or mentioning other Pinterest profiles in posts is not currently supported.
