Social channels occasionally disconnect from dlvr.it when their access tokens expire. This can happen after a password change, a security update from the social network, or simply because the token has reached the end of its lifespan. It's normal — and usually quick to fix.
Why does this happen? Social networks periodically reset third-party app connections to keep your account secure. It's not a dlvr.it issue — it's the platform doing its job.

FAQ
1. Refreshing your channel
Most of the time, a simple refresh is all you need. Here's how:
Log into dlvr.it and go to your Social Pages settings.
Find the channel showing as expired or disconnected and click Reconnect.
📸 [Screenshot: dlvr.it Social Pages settings showing a channel with an "Expired" or "Requires refreshing" label and the Refresh button highlighted]
You'll be prompted to log in and reauthorize. Follow the on-screen steps and you should be back up and running.
Before you click Reconnect, make sure you're logged into the right account:
Facebook Pages — log in as the personal Facebook profile with admin access to the Page
Instagram — log in as the Instagram business account you want to reconnect
LinkedIn Pages — log in as the LinkedIn profile with Super Admin access to the Page
Once reconnected, check your queue for any posts that failed while the channel was disconnected. You can retry these manually — either adding them back to your next available queue slot or publishing them immediately.
2. Reauthorizing your channel
If a simple refresh doesn't work, you'll need to fully remove dlvr.it's access from the social network and reconnect from scratch. Follow the steps for your specific channel below.
These steps should be completed on a desktop browser.
Follow the steps in our guide: Troubleshooting your Facebook connection in dlvr.it to fully reauthorize the connection.

Bluesky
Bluesky uses app passwords rather than OAuth, so the reconnection process works a little differently.
In dlvr.it, enter your Bluesky handle and click Generate app password in Bluesky.

You'll be taken to your Bluesky account. Click Add App Password.

Give the password a name — you can type "dlvr.it" or use the auto-generated name.

You don't need to enable access to direct messages — dlvr.it doesn't use that feature, so leave that box unchecked.
Once your password is generated, click the copy icon next to it to copy it to your clipboard.

Save this password somewhere safe. For security reasons, Bluesky won't show it to you again. If you lose it, you'll need to generate a new one.
Head back to dlvr.it, paste the password into the password field, and click Next. Your Bluesky channel is now reconnected.
FAQ
What happens if I don't refresh the connection? Any posts scheduled to that channel will fail to publish until the connection is restored. The sooner you refresh, the fewer posts you'll miss.
Will I lose my scheduled posts if I refresh? No — refreshing only reauthorizes dlvr.it to post on your behalf. Your existing queue and scheduled posts are not affected.
Will dlvr.it automatically retry failed posts once I reconnect? No — failed posts won't retry automatically. Once you've reconnected your channel, check your queue and manually retry any posts you'd like to publish.
Still having trouble? Reach out to our support team with the name of the channel and any error message you're seeing — we'll help you sort it out.
