1. What's supported on YouTube

2. Connecting your YouTube channel
To connect a YouTube channel to dlvr.it, you must be logged into the Google account that owns the channel before starting the connection process. Log into that Google account in your browser, then head to dlvr.it to complete the connection.

Important: You must be the owner of the YouTube channel to connect it to dlvr.it. Manager-level access on a brand account is not sufficient — the connection requires owner-level permissions.
You can connect multiple YouTube channels to dlvr.it. To avoid connecting the wrong channel, make sure the correct Google account is active in your browser before connecting each one.
Verifying your YouTube account If your YouTube account is unverified, you'll be limited to 10 posts per 24 hours and will not be able to include external links in your post descriptions. To unlock full posting capabilities, verify your account at myaccount.google.com.

3. Publishing YouTube Shorts
dlvr.it automatically publishes new video content to your YouTube channel when items appear in your connected source. Here are a few things worth knowing.

Hashtags included in your post description will be clickable once the Short is published to YouTube.
Music and audio
YouTube's native audio and music library is not accessible to third-party tools via the API. If you'd like to add music or audio to a Short, you'll need to do so directly in YouTube Studio after the post has been published.
Custom thumbnails
Custom thumbnails are not currently supported for YouTube Shorts published through dlvr.it. YouTube will automatically generate a thumbnail from your video.
Video category
dlvr.it does not support selecting a category when publishing Shorts. YouTube will automatically assign a category. If you'd like to change the category after publishing, you can update it directly in YouTube Studio.

YouTube Shorts are vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes long. Use the table below when preparing video content for YouTube.

Can I use YouTube as a content source in dlvr.it? Yes — YouTube is supported as a content sources and publishing destination. See Supported channels in dlvr.it for the full list of supported sources.
What if my YouTube channel isn't showing up when I try to connect? Make sure you're logged into the Google account that owns the channel — Manager access on a brand account is not enough to connect. Switch to the owner account in your browser and try again.
What if my YouTube connection stops working? Access tokens can expire after a password change or a Google security update. See Reconnecting a social channel in dlvr.it for steps to restore the connection.
Can I change the category of a Short after it's been published? Yes — you can update the category directly in YouTube Studio after the post has gone live. This can't be set at the time of publishing through dlvr.it.
