Connecting your YouTube channel
To connect a YouTube channel to dlvr.it, you must be logged into the Google account that owns the channel before starting. Log into that Google account in your browser, then head to dlvr.it to complete the connection.
You must be the channel owner. Manager-level access on a brand account isn’t sufficient — connecting requires owner-level permissions.
Connecting multiple channels. You can connect multiple YouTube channels. To avoid connecting the wrong one, make sure the correct Google account is active in your browser before connecting each one.
Verify your account. If your YouTube account is unverified, you’re limited to 10 posts per 24 hours and can’t include external links in descriptions. Verify your account at myaccount.google.com to unlock full posting.

Publishing to YouTube
dlvr.it automatically publishes new video content to your YouTube channel when items appear in your connected source. Videos can be up to 15 minutes long: those under 3 minutes are published as YouTube Shorts, and longer videos are published as standard videos. A few things worth knowing:
Character limits. Titles up to 100 characters; descriptions up to 5,000 characters.
Daily posting limit. Verified accounts: unlimited. Unverified accounts: 10 posts per 24 hours (and no external links in descriptions).
Hashtags. Hashtags in your description become clickable once the Short is published.
Music and audio. YouTube’s native audio and music library isn’t accessible to third-party tools via the API. To add music or audio to a Short, do it in YouTube Studio after publishing.
Custom thumbnails. Not supported for Shorts published through dlvr.it — YouTube generates a thumbnail from your video automatically.
Video category. You can’t select a category when publishing; YouTube assigns one automatically. Change it in YouTube Studio after publishing if needed.

Can dlvr.it publish standard YouTube videos, not just Shorts? Yes — dlvr.it publishes videos up to 15 minutes long. Videos under 3 minutes are automatically published as Shorts; longer videos publish as standard videos.
Can I use YouTube as a content source in dlvr.it? Yes — YouTube works as both a content source and a publishing destination. See Supported channels in dlvr.it for the full list of supported sources.
What if my YouTube channel isn’t showing up when I try to connect? Make sure you’re logged into the Google account that owns the channel — Manager access on a brand account isn’t enough. Switch to the owner account in your browser and try again.

Can I change the category of a Short after it’s published? Yes — update the category directly in YouTube Studio after the post goes live. It can’t be set at publishing time through dlvr.it.
