Business and Creator accounts give dlvr.it the fullest API access and are recommended for reliable automated publishing.

Personal accounts have more limited API access. If you're experiencing publishing issues with a personal account, converting to a Business or Creator account will resolve most of them — see the steps below.

3. How to check your Instagram account type

  1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device and go to your profile.

  2. Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.

  3. Look at the bottom of the menu:

    • Business tools and controls → you have a Business account

    • Creator tools and controls → you have a Creator account

    • Account type and tools → you have a Personal account
